Primrose Hill C of E Primary Academy is a Good school in all areas.
'Super proud of our child's excellent report! Thank you. It really does describe her to a T! She blows us away with her Maths too. She has really enjoyed her time in Year 1 and has become a lot more confident. Thank you. (Wow to her Phonics test too!)'
'Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work this year. Our children have been so well supported and have both continued to flourish. Thank you for their lovely reports.' Parent 2018 report feedback.
Head Teacher's welcome
Our Vision Statement:
We aspire that this Church Academy will be a distinctive centre of excellence, where our children become independent, thinking, resilient individuals with a passion for learning and enquiry. They will be taught by skilled teachers who nurture every pupil and embed Christian values to maximise potential.
Primrose Hill Church of England Primary Academy is a large school on the edge of the town of Lydney and close to the Forest of Dean. Classrooms and shared areas provide attractive and effective teaching and learning spaces. Other facilities include an ICT suite, a recently refurbished library and a brand new 'outdoor classroom'. Our school has extensive grounds overlooking the Severn Valley. We are well resourced to deliver the curriculum. Victoria Henson Head Teacher |
Clear Christian values underpin our work at Primrose Hill, with personal, social, spiritual and moral development high on the agenda alongside academic achievement. Our aim is to provide a wide range of curricular and other experiences for the children. Work is differentiated to meet the needs of the individual. School development continues to focus on English and Maths. We have been working hard to support parents in helping children in their work. We believe that learning should be enjoyable, meaningful and engaging and should foster both creativity and links with the ‘real world’. For more information visit about our academy. |
